My friend who is married to the Internet said his wife informed him about this stupid bo liao news – residents in Woodlands are not happy that their void deck kena used by Gahmen to build an eldercare centre.

The people there are damn bo liao. What are they thinking of actually? They scare their property value will drop because of too many lao ah peks around is it? That the centre will smell of old folks’ shit or harmful bacteria will swarm the void deck har? I very worried that the basic respect for old people is going down the drain liao.
Come on lah! Without your parents, do you think you will be around to fucking complain about this issue?
I, for one, will forever be grateful to my dear parents for bringing me into this nice world of sweet chiobus and beautiful sceneries. They are not rich, in fact, quite poor. My mum used to work three jobs in a single day – morning sell mah pui bo (newspapers), afternoon go cakeshop to work as assistant, then nighttime go restaurant to be a waitress. Midnight then come back home. My father also work hard in his job. But we the kids where got worry about money one? Only know how to play and have fun. No money to eat sng bao (a type of ice cream) will just show our palms to ask mother for pocket money.
Now both my parents are happily retired. They got four children. All four went to university, one even got a Master’s degree. Three of them still giving them pocket money, each more than S$500, only got 1 son kena controlled by his wife and act blur, one year visit parents a few times and only give them money once in a blue moon. So every month my parents’ “pension” is close to S$2,000. I think they are quite ho mia now. 
However I am fully aware got many ah peks and ah hmngs are old and penniless, and maybe kena deserted by their ungrateful children. They bo pian, have to work in some lan jiao food outlets which only give them $300-$500 per month and expect them to work hard everyday without falling sick or having back pain. These folks are really sibeh cham.
Taking care of ageing parents is the right thing to do, no matter where you are located or where the eldercare centre is to be located. Woodlands’ residents please shut the fuck up!
The lan jiao attitude of these Woodlands residents is the same as saying they don’t mind an MP having extramarital affairs with other married/single women as long as the MP does a sibeh solid job AND does not touch their wives or sisters or any females related to them!
